Today race was different. I was hoping to do better, but i did not do too bad at all. I was trying to use the new way of running, but it is a lot harder running on pavement than on the treadmill. It was kinda funny while I was running i would pass someone and then someone would pass me. So my overall place was sixth and my age for my age group i was second. I am not sure how many were in the 5k race, but i am thinking around 163 runners. So what now? Well i am glad you asked! I am now going back to my long running; so next week i will be running 50 - 55 miles. I am hoping to run a half marathon in Boise in October. Thanks for reading and have a Great Day!!! :)

No chance i will show you up. My best time for a 5k is 27:5_. and that was down hill. I am hpoing I can break 30 min. Who knows. I just got back from the carnival and went on the Zipper, and pretty much and totally sick! I feel so OLD! Those kind of rides didn't used to make me sick! I guess having six kids does something to a girl! ;)

Nice race, Barry, recuperating from the injury.

It was great meeting you, hope to "run" into you again soon.
